Eliza Emmett

Eliza Emmett is the pseudonym for Patricia Friedrich, an English professor who writes Victorian romance inspired by the kind of comedy of manners that Jane Austen and her contemporaries used to write. She is the author of several academic books as well as journal articles and short stories. Eliza loves conducting historical research to infuse her novels with the colors and flavors of the time. When she is not writing, Eliza loves to travel and learn languages. She is fluent in four.
